Ep. 48 Solo Travel is Empowering AF
Aloha! I am in Maui right now, in my condo with the doors wide open, birds chirping, SUN out, and I am delighted to be coming to you today. The reason that I brought all of my equipment to Maui is that I wanted to be in this vortex of energy to talk to you about a couple of different things, your year–end review, and solo tripping.
Intuitives, in particular, need TIME AWAY, and they need things to look forward to. It’s Maui this time for me, and it could be anywhere for you. It could be the ocean. It could be the mountains. It could be ANYWHERE.
Intuitives do not like, nor do we flourish in a nine to five schedule. We love spontaneity, creativity, and living different lives. And part of that comes from not living a scheduled life… and from traveling.
As creative, intuitive types, we need to get outside of the box. So that is one of the reasons that I am here and that you’re listening to this podcast because you need to know as well that there is NOTHING fricking wrong with you. There’s nothing wrong with you, except again, as a reminder, 75% of the population doesn’t actually ”need” this.
Do they love it? Of course, they’ll have to go on vacation. Well, some people don’t love it, but the difference is Intuitives NEED IT in a different way than Sensors need it. Or, they maybe don’t even need it.
Where can we go? What can we see that’s new every day? And so again, I want Intuitives to realize there is nothing wrong with us. This is just who we are.
I don’t care if you are married, single, or in a relationship. GO TRAVEL by yourself. It will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made in your life. I promise you that. During this amazing episode, I get super honest and let you know why this is so damn important and empowering. (And also, when you see someone traveling alone, let’s stop looking at them with fucking pity. Instead, look at them like, “Good on you!” Remember, they are alone likely by choice.)
The second reason that I’m here is that this is my time to do my YEAR IN REVIEW.
I want to talk to you a tiny bit about the year in review, but I’m not going to give it all the way because I am doing a free webinar. December 18th at 7:30 AM Pacific time. (See the link below in the notes…)
I’m going to show you exactly what I do to review my year, to set me up for success. So there has to be INTENTION. And purpose. We’ve got to note, like literally write down our biggest “aha” was for the past year to help us give some clarity on where we need to go in 2020.
Then obviously, you know, one of my favorite things is to plan the coming year to be the most KICK–ASS that it can be.
But I’m here to tell you right now… you cannot, and will not be successful until you do this practice. Period. End of story. I think it’s a Dr. Phil–ism that says, “The best predictor of future performance is past performance.” And what most people do is they don’t do shit.
They don’t track their year. They don’t reread their year, and they certainly don’t ask themselves…Where was I awesome? Where was I a hot–ass mess? And how do I need to FIX IT?
So, if you don’t follow this practice or need some motivation to get it in gear, listen to this episode. I’ll outline my practice, give you some kick-ass ideas on how to implement this into your world, and you’ll learn why all of this is so important.
Ok, there’s so much more in the episode, so give it a listen, and I can’t wait to see you next time. All right guys, thank you!
